She’s the worst flying cadet, ever! And his squabbling teammates are plotting to put her out of the race. But Cupid isn’t who she appears to be. RA Winter’s Review: 4.5-Stars
Ronaldo is nervous. He’s the top solo cadet at the Reindeer Flying Academy but today he’s on his way to the North Pole to learn group flying from Santa’s team!
A huge weight is on Ronaldo’s shoulders. He needs to impress if he’s going to make Santa’s team one day and win the Jingle Bell prize. Only one obstacle stands in his way. Cupid. The worst flyer in the Academy.
And now they are paired together! Ugh!
Ronaldo is a story about friendships, being different, and helping others.
It’s adorable. The illustrations are well done and give life to the story. I can see my grandkids sitting on my lap as I read it to them at Christmas while sipping hot chocolate. There’s lots of humor, and if you add in your own sound effects, you’ll have the little ones in stitches.
I give this a 4.5, I can’t wait to read this one to the grandkids.
9-year-old Madi’s Review: 5-Stars
I like the cover. The colors are really good, and I like the elf’s pink hair.
This book is a darn good book. My favorite part, the funniest part was whenever Cupid crashed into Rudi. I laughed out loud at that. Then Ronaldo came into the room, and he saw that Rudi’s antler had been chipped. I bet the lavender oil smelled awful.
I felt sorry for cupid a little bit when she crashed into Rudi and couldn’t get into her room.
It was funny when Ronaldo’s dad spilled cocoa all over his room in the beginning. I always love the drawing in the Ronaldo series. They are great. They have a lot of detail.
