Farah Adlin is never getting married.

Not now, not “someday,” and certainly not when she’s blackout drunk at her sister’s wedding in Las Vegas. So when she wakes up in an unfamiliar hotel room with a ring on her finger, the only logical explanation is that she won it from a vending machine, right?

She doesn’t have much time to dwell on it anyway, as Damien Vance, her boss and heir to the Vance fortune, assigns her to be the glorified baby sitter for his older brother for the week. Eric Vance is as obnoxious as he is handsome, immediately pushing all of Farah’s buttons and all of her boundaries. With one brother trying her patience, and the other acting unusually friendly, Farah’s starting to wonder if she’s going to survive her work-life long enough to find who put that ring on her finger.

Sherry Terry’s Review: 4.5-Stars

I found this book very enjoyable. The cover does work with the story as a romance but does not reflect what the characters look like in the story. This isn’t the end of the world, What Happens in Vegas, under the pen name Leann Belle, is still a good read. This story is a nice sweet romance with a “happily ever after” ending.

Farah Adlin goes to her sister’s wedding in Vegas, the same place her job is having a convention for the Vance franchise of high-end hotels for the rich and famous. She wakes up the morning after in a strange room with a ring on her finger and a man next to her. With no memory of what happened after a lot of shots the night before, her first instinct is to run.

This is a campy fun read with twists and turns. Two billionaire brothers and a pretty employee of the hotel they own find themselves in a precarious situation. Just which brother is Farah married too? Tiffani Burkett knows her stuff and wrote What Happens in Vegas with witty dialog, great characterization, and lots of emotions. I found myself rooting for both Damien, Farah’s boss, and his brother Eric.

There were some small formatting issues, but that could be the device I read on. I give the book 4.5-Stars for some typos and weaker sentences. I feel that some of the sentences could be stronger. This in no way took away from my overall enjoyment of the story, What Happens in Vegas by Tiffani Burkett.
